Terms of Service

Last updated June 21, 2026

The ground rules for using dailyprog. They're short, and they're meant to be fair.

Using the site

dailyprog is a free daily programming puzzle. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. The site is in beta — it may change, break, or be taken offline at any time.

Acceptable use

Use the site as intended: solving puzzles. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its verification sandbox; don't try to extract hidden tests; and don't use the site for anything unlawful or that interferes with others' use of it.

Code you submit

You keep ownership of the code you write. By submitting it you grant us permission to run and verify it transiently for the purpose of checking your solution; we don't store it afterwards (see the Privacy page). You're responsible for the code you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

Our content

The puzzles, their tests, the site text, and the dailyprog name and branding belong to us. You're welcome to share your own results and link to the site, but please don't republish the puzzle content wholesale or pass it off as your own.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a puzzle or its verdict is correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. If they change meaningfully, we'll update the date above; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and its courts have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence give you additional rights.
